Mountain Biking Skills Tips
Having trouble with your MTB skills? Use these tips to help you out.
CORNERING
To be able to corner smoothly and rail a berm is a key skill for mountain bikers that many riders overlook. Follow these tips and soon you'll be railing corners like a legend!
1, LOOK AHEAD to the entry point of the corner.
2, INSIDE PEDAL UP! Get your inside pedal up and put all of your weight on the outside pedal.
3, LEAN YOUR BIKE not your body.
4, LOOK WHERE YOU WANT TO GO. Look for the exit midway through the turn.
5, BOOM, Do the same on the next corner!

JUMPING
Everyone wants to be able to jump.
Follow these tips and soon you'll be jumping like a Pro!
1, Approach in the Ready Position.
2, Compress body down like a spring just before jump.
3, Pop up at top of the lip, getting the front wheel high.
4, Bring legs up underneath your body.
5, Straighten legs to land.
6, Compress on landing, then back to Ready Position.
7, Repeat until the sun goes down.
